Seyed Abbas Baghban Anbaran, born in 1949 in the Grand Bazaar of Mashhad, is one of the pioneers and influential figures in Iran's restaurant industry. He began his career in rice and saffron trading and in 1978 established the first modern Chelow Kebab restaurant in Ahmadabad Street, Mashhad (Ehsan Restaurant), creating a major transformation in the style of restaurant management.
In 2000, together with his children, he established the famous Shab-haye Anbaran Restaurant in Torghabeh. Later, he founded Gol Anbaran and Tooba restaurants.
He is the founder of the Torghabeh and Shandiz Restaurant Owners Association and the first Tourism Union of Restaurant Owners in Iran's recreational areas. He is also currently serving his third consecutive term as Vice President of the Mashhad Restaurant and Banquet Halls Union.
